First blog post

This is my very first blog post, ever! AHH!

First  I will tell you a little about me, and then  why I decided to start a blog.

My name is Jessica Colati. I am a single white female addicted to food & retail. I own my own business called 2 Sorelle Gelato. You can check us out on Instagram. Aside from owning my own business keeping me busy, I also work as a consultant for a food distribution company and teach people how to make gelato as well.

Over a year ago, I really started to fall in love with cooking. It all really started when I moved out on my own. (I know, big girl panties = big girl problems)
One of my new challenges was cooking for myself every night. Being the foodie that I am, I fell in love with cooking very quickly.

I started posting my amateur culinary adventures on Snapchat & Instagram stories & the response I was getting from my friends and followers was UNREAL.
Everyone kept telling me I needed to create a page where people can get all of my recipes, and they were right! What was I thinking?? Posting yummy food for 10 seconds and having it disappear – my friends were calling me a food tease!

So, I finally decided to put in a little effort – create this blog, and start documenting all of my cooking experiences and sharing them with all of you.

One thing I am hoping this blog will force me to do is finally sit with my grandmother (The famous Nonna Felicia) and get all of those ancient recipes out of her head and onto paper, so they aren’t lost forever.
